Students at Natural History Museum

Our field trip yesterday to the Natural History Museum was an amazing experience as our ESOL students were exposed to & got the opportunity to practice with the real-life tools & procedures that forensic scientist employees at the museum use to solve mysteries & crimes.

Here are a few photos of us analyzing 65 year old bones & ballistic evidence to discover cause of death, testing bird snarge under a microscope, creating & matching DNA sequences found in animals, and taking a selfie with a 13-foot Angolan elephant.
