  • Medical Billing and Coding: Learn how to translate medical diagnoses, procedures, and treatments into universal codes used for insurance billing and record keeping.

threePost-Secondary Readiness

Bryant High School is committed to preparing students for success after graduation. We provide comprehensive support and resources to help students develop their post-secondary plans, including:

  • Jobs for Virginia Graduates: only school in FCPS that has this grant.  This program assists youth in graduating from high school and then obtaining and keeping high quality jobs with livable wages.  This program includes a unique combination of in-school and out-of-school services provided by JVG Specialist.
  • College Partnership Program: Support for underrepresented students
  • Scholarship Application Assistance: Help with navigating the financial aid process

sixBryant Supports Our Military Families

As a Purple Star School, we are committed to supporting our military families. We work closely with military liaisons from Ft. Belvoir to develop programs that address their unique needs.

Bryant Staff Care About Our Students

Bryant's small size fosters a strong sense of community where every student is known and supported. Teachers build strong relationships with students, understanding their individual learning styles, strengths, and challenges. This nurturing environment encourages academic risk-taking and personal growth.  Our staff members are regularly recognized for their dedication and caring approach through the FCPS CARES program. In October 2024, Iris Stubbliefield was recognized with the FCPS Cares of the Month award in Region 3.

eightCommunity Partnerships

We value our strong partnerships with organizations like Genesys Works, Jobs for Virginia Graduates (JVG), Dream Catchers, Project Opportunity, and WISH, Metropolitan Washington Airport Authority, Greater Washington DC Diaper Bank, Food for Thoughtfulness, Food for Neighbors, and New Hope Church which enhance our educational programs and provide valuable resources for our students.

nineGraduation Flexibility

Bryant holds two graduation ceremonies annually, one in February and another in June. This allows students to celebrate their accomplishments and move on to their next steps – whether it's college, career training, or employment – as soon as they are ready, rather than waiting for a traditional end-of-year ceremony. This flexible approach to graduation reflects Pathways' commitment to meeting individual student needs and supporting their timely progress.

tenThree Chances to Succeed

Bryant High School understands that students learn and achieve at different paces. That's why we offer three opportunities throughout the school year for students to pass the SOL tests required for graduation. This gives students multiple chances to demonstrate their knowledge and reduces the pressure of a single, high-stakes exam.
