This year in Studio Art, students will experiment with a variety of art media and art-making techniques for drawing, watercolor, mixed media and especially 3D media.  Students will apply their heritage and personal experiences to artmaking.  Students will become effective communicators by writing and videoing their artistic process through Photo & Video-Journaling using art & design vocabulary.  Students will learn about observational skills and how to interpret these in an expressive, personal and thematic manner in artmaking.  Students will apply their creative thinking and problem-solving skills as they journey into their artistic process studying many forms of art and culture.

• Office Hours per request after school or planning period.
• Progress reports (grades) are sent bi-weekly & students need to check SIS for any missing work to be completed & turned in.
• Major announcements are covered in class, Schoology & Emails.
